This high quality greetings card features two adorable baby dormice. Easily distinguished from other mice by their long furry tail, the hazel dormouse is shy and mainly nocturnal. It is believed that they derive their names from the French word dormir or the Latin word dormire, meaning 'to sleep' - very appropriate for an animal that spends up to six months of the year hibernating.
